A Fitness to Practise Panel has found serious safeguarding failures which led to the abuse of minors proved against Julie Margaret Murphy, a registered Qualified Social Worker.
The Panel found Ms Murphy’s current fitness to practise was impaired and imposed a Removal Order which means Ms Murphy will be unable to work in a regulated social care role in Wales. Ms Murphy’s name will be taken off the Register and placed on the List of Persons Removed from the Register.
Ms Murphy has the right of appeal to the Care Standards Tribunal within 28 days.
